Join Our Team!

Starline Therapy is always looking for talented therapists, both licensed and intern-licensed, to join our growing team. We are dedicated to maintaining an inclusive practice with a diverse body of therapists that can attend to a wide variety of presenting issues. We strive to create a workplace where you feel not just appreciated and respected, but also fairly compensated for the services you provide.

Though we take our role as mental health professionals seriously, our work environment/ team interactions are casual in nature. We hate corporate vibes. It is of upmost importance to us that you are able to express and advertise yourself as authentically as you’d like both with your coworkers and with your clients.

If you work for us, you can expect the following:
- Full medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits provided by United Health Care with up to 100% of your premiums covered by Starline Therapy.
- Fair compensation relative to the amount of clients you see, with a caseload between 10 - 25 units per week (hard capped at 25 to promote self-care and burnout prevention).
- 4 weeks of paid time off (PTO) per year, with flexibility to make your own schedule and take other time off as-desired.
- Access to referrals through the Starline Therapy intake system.
- All insurance claims, remittance, and admin handled by Starline Therapy so you can focus on being present for your clients.
- Regular administrative support and guidance.
- (Basically, we handle the frustrating parts of being a therapist for you!)

For Licensed Associates:
- Compensated supervision opportunities, including meta-supervision, if you’d like to pursue Approved Supervisor status.
- Reimbursement for continuing education units (CEUs) necessary for license renewal.

For Non-Licensed/ Intern-Licensed Associates:
- Primary and Secondary supervision for clinical hours counted toward licensure requirements in both Nevada and Illinois.
- Reimbursement for licensure application costs.

A supportive work environment, optional social gatherings, and more!

Ideal candidates possess the following qualities:
- Strong appreciation of the code of ethics and models of ethical decision-making.
- Self-directedness and willingness to ask for assistance when needed.
- Systemically-minded, familiar with various theories of systemic change, and able to conceptualize cases relationally (even with individuals).
- A Masters degree from a COAMFTE-Accredited Marriage/Couple & Family Therapy program.
- Appreciation of diversity, difference, inclusion, and social justice.
- Desire to show up as authentically as possible and celebrate the authenticity of others.
